| - This is why MTU still use NextCom |
sep 23. 2008 13:23 | telenorge.noLike several other companies, MTU realized that they needed a tool that could collect and systematize important customer information. As the customer database grew and there was more information to comprehend, there was a need for new ideas and systems to ensure proper follow-up of customers. - "We were positive that someone took the initiative to start development of a system that would help us to tackle parts of the challenges we faced - both in terms of follow-ups and, not least, new sales. This became a project that turned out to give us great learning," says CEO of MTU, Jo Lerheim. Guidance of its own sellersThe use of NextCom Evolution System secures everything from contact information to customer history and order confirmations. Each of the users has their own "account" where everything they do according to sales, for instance, is recorded. The same system maintains lists/leads with which the seller will work based on input from the leader. The system also monitors all the relevant information about the market which are sorted and presented to the different users' main pages. This way they can keep pace with market developments in the industry. In other words the complete day of work will be scheduled by this system; this will again ease the workload of the various leaders. - "This gives managers a better overview and the ability to intervene if they find that one or more of the sellers may have a need for better guidance. This gives a great confidence, both for managers and other employees," says Lerheim. Invaluable resourceWhen asked how the feedback from the users in MTU has been, Lerheim simple answered: - "Absolutely great - this is why we have chosen to proceed with NextCom. The system has only become better and better during the years - and for us it has become an invaluable resource. - "I have great confidence that this is a system that will be very well received in the market. According to a growth of the customer database, it is a must to gather all the different variables in a system that easily can be used by all. It is an ongoing fight servicing the customers, and if you fail on good service of customers, you have already lost," the MTU CEO concludes. |
